RetroTD respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the RetroTD mobile game and the RetroTD website. --- # Overview RetroTD is designed to be playable without creating an account or providing personal information. Some optional features — such as player profiles, device linking, leaderboards, and online statistics — may require limited data processing. RetroTD only processes the minimum amount of information required to operate the game, improve stability, and support optional online features. RetroTD does **not sell personal data**. --- # Personal Data RetroTD does **not require personal information** to play the game. However, if you choose to create a RetroTD account on the RetroTD website, the following information may be collected: - Email address - Username This information is used only to: - Create and manage your RetroTD account - Allow device linking between the game and the website - Provide access to your player profile and statistics - Help recover access to your account if needed RetroTD does **not collect names, phone numbers, physical addresses, or other direct personal identifiers.** --- # Game Data RetroTD stores gameplay-related data necessary for the game to function correctly. This may include: - Game progress - High scores - Waves reached - In-game currency (for example diamonds) - Research / permanent upgrades - Gameplay settings - Gameplay statistics This data may be stored: - Locally on your device - On RetroTD servers These systems enable features such as: - Leaderboards - Progress synchronization - Restoring saved game data - Player profiles and statistics --- # Anonymous Gameplay Analytics RetroTD collects **limited anonymous gameplay statistics** in order to improve the game. Examples of collected analytics data include: - Anonymous installation identifier - Game start and game end events - Waves reached and enemies defeated - Gameplay events such as upgrades or research progress - Game version and platform This information is used only to: - Improve gameplay balance - Detect bugs and technical issues - Understand how players interact with the game - Monitor game performance This data **cannot be used to identify individual players**, unless users voluntarily create an account and provide a username. --- # Device Identifiers RetroTD generates an **anonymous installation identifier** when the game is first installed. This identifier is used to: - Store gameplay progress - Associate gameplay data with a device - Enable optional device linking with a RetroTD account This identifier does **not contain personal information** and cannot be used to directly identify a person. --- # Device Linking RetroTD allows players to link their game installation to a RetroTD website account. To enable this feature: - The game may generate a temporary **pairing code** - The code can be entered on the RetroTD website - The device installation is then linked to the user account This creates a connection between: - The RetroTD account - The anonymous installation identifier This allows gameplay statistics and progress to appear on the player's profile. --- # In-App Purchases RetroTD offers optional in-app purchases using **Apple’s In-App Purchase system**. All payment processing and billing information is handled entirely by Apple. RetroTD does **not receive or store payment details, credit card information, or billing data.** --- # Advertisements RetroTD may display optional advertisements provided by third-party advertising partners, including: - IronSource - UnityAds - Google AdMob These partners may collect certain information to provide and measure advertisements, such as: - Device identifiers (including the Advertising Identifier – **IDFA**) - Approximate location information - Advertisement interaction data - Advertisement performance metrics Before accessing the Advertising Identifier (IDFA), RetroTD requests permission through Apple’s **App Tracking Transparency (ATT)** framework. If you choose **“Ask App Not to Track”**, advertisements may still be shown but may be less personalized. Advertising partners process this data according to their own privacy policies. RetroTD does not directly access, store, or sell this advertising data. --- # Data Sharing RetroTD does **not sell personal data**. Data may be processed by: - RetroTD servers (game functionality and analytics) - Advertising partners for advertisements Each provider processes data according to their own privacy policies. --- # Data Retention Gameplay data and account information may be stored for as long as necessary to operate the RetroTD services. Users may request deletion of their account and associated data by contacting the email address listed below. --- # Children’s Privacy RetroTD does not knowingly collect personal information from children. The game can be played without providing personal information. If an account is created, only an email address and username are required. --- # Your Privacy Choices You can control privacy-related settings through your device settings, including: - App Tracking Transparency permissions - Personalized advertising preferences RetroTD complies with Apple’s **App Tracking Transparency** requirements. --- # Changes to This Policy This Privacy Policy may be updated occasionally to reflect changes in the game, services, or legal requirements.
